OnStar Calls Hennessey “Everybody's Ok?”
Written by Corey Mullane Monday, 26 October 2009
When you build some of the baddest cars on the road today you tend to push the boundaries of what is considered “acceptable” for the purposes of safety. In this case Hennessey Performance was tinkering with one of its V700s, a 700hp version of the new CTS-V, when the onboard OnStar system thought something was amiss. The cause, an 11.07 second pass at 128mph in the quarter - the effect, a call from a concerned OnStar representative to see if “everybody's ok”. Check out the video of the 11-second pass and subsequent helpful call after the jump.
