LNF Warranty Information

After we announced that the Stage 1 kit for the Cobalt SS was out and the mad dash began, we started getting comments, emails and phone calls from people upset about how the Stage 1 kit voids their factory warranty. GM HPVO would never put you out like that and we here at GMTS would never lead you to water only to shoot you when you started to drink. Rest assured the Stage 1 kit for the LNF is in full compliance with your factory warranty and we’ve worked with GM HPVO to make sure your dealers know what’s up as well. A special bulletin has been issued that you can reference to your dealer to help satisfy any warranty concerns which you can find after the break.

Vortech Supercharger kit for the 2010 L99 Chevy Camaro

Every day it seems a new part is coming out for the 2010 Chevy Camaro and with good reason. The Camaro is the it car right now and all the aftermarket companies that are worth their weight in Myrrh want to stake their claim to making the baddest product out there for it. Vortech Engineering is no exception and actually quite the contrary as they have just released their V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger kit for the L99 Camaro that leaves us thinking about who could possibly top this effort? Increased power isn't the only benefit of a Vortech kit, you also get that patented Vortech sound that mesmerizes enthusiasts everywhere and is reminiscent to novices as that of a '74 Buick with a bad alternator.

Takeda Free Intake

Calling all Cobalt SS Supercharged owners! Takeda is looking to develop an intake for the 05-07 model year Supercharged Cobalt and is giving an intake to the lucky owner as part of the deal. If you're in the Corona, CA area and would like to donate your Cobalt SS/SC for a day to the team of Takeda engineers this seems like a pretty sweet deal. During testing, the Takeda team will fit their prototype to your vehicle, make some dyno runs and take airflow readings to help develop the final product.

Wiseco LNF Pistons

The 2.0L ECOtec DI Turbo LNF motor makes impressive power rather easily, as any owner of a Cobalt SS, Sky Redline, Solstice GXP or HHR SS knows. But what happens when impressive isn’t enough? You want stellar, outstanding, stupendous and astonishing power! At that point, you have to start thinking hardware. One piece of engine hardware that will make sure you and your engine stay in one piece while at the track is a set of forged aluminum slugs to replace the cast aluminum ones that the factory fits to each LNF engine.

Solstice Black Headlamps

We just received a call from Tom over at CrateEngineDepot.com and he gave us the lowdown on some new Solstice headlamps he just got in that are pretty slick. These new headlamps are the OEM factory Solstice headlamps but with a twist in that the reflective factory backings are removed in favor of a black painted piece.

This looks like a perfect accessory for any owners of a Mysterious Black Solstice to give it that Corvette color-matched headlight look. If you’re Solstice is adorned with another pigment off the Pontiac color palette, these headlamps will add a sinister look that helps lend a bit of attitude to the front of your ride.
